When you want pizza but don’t want to wait until dinner to eat it!
Swap a whole-wheat flour tortilla for a pizza crust in this recipe which is bursting with pizza flavor.
Makes 1 servings
Ingredients:
1 whole-wheat flour tortilla, 6 inches in diameter
2 Tablespoons prepared pizza sauce
12 leaves baby spinach
1/4 cup shredded carrots
3 Tablespoons shredded part-skim mozzarella cheese
1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
Instructions:
Place tortilla on a plate and spread the pizza sauce on it. Top with an even layer of spinach and carrots and then sprinkle the cheese on top. Sprinkle oregano on top of the cheese.
Microwave on high until the cheese is just melted, about 45 seconds. Carefully roll the tortilla up and let cool.
Note: For a crispier crust, bake the pizza in a 375 degree F oven for 10 minutes instead of microwaving it.
